Duncan graduated in 1999 with a BS in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Michigan. He has worked at Westinghouse for nearly 5 years as a core analysis engineer and is currently a project manager. In that time, he has been an active member of the Westinghouse and National NA-YGN chapters, and is currently the president of the Westinghouse Pittsburgh NA-YGN Chapter.
He is also active in American Nuclear Society and serves as the treasurer of the Pittsburgh Local Section. Every year, he has attended the NA-YGN spring conference/workshop as a representative of Westinghouse, as well as this year's ANS Summer and Winter Conferences and the International Youth Nuclear Congress.
Duncan also works on recruiting, training, and university relations for his department.
