Since 2001, Michael has worked as a Senior Instructor for Dominion, where
he teaches nuclear plant chemistry in the basic engineering training
program and develops computer-based training for all of Dominion's nuclear
facilities.
Michael was born and raised in Richmond, Virginia. In 1990, while studying
Physics at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, he became
interested in Radiation Protection and in enrolled in the National Academy
for Nuclear Training, sponsored by then - Virginia Power. After four years
of studying and working in the Health Physics field at North Anna Power
Station, he completed the NRRPT exam. Michael then began studying nuclear
plant chemistry and served as a Chemist at North Anna until 2001.
Michael is a father of two girls and enjoys spending time with his family.
In his spare time, Michael also enjoys astronomy, videography, playing
music, reading, and singing.
