| Go Nuke!: Suggestions for Article Topics
Articles can cover any area that may be of interest to young professionals in nuclear science and technology (NS&T). Perhaps you've attended a conference that may be of particular interest to NA-YGN members - tell us what you learned from it! Maybe you know an individual (from any generation) whose experiences may help guide other young professionals - interview him or her so that we all might learn from this example! Or, take a more personal approach by writing about your own perspective as a young professional in NS&T!
Remember - the field is wide open to suggestions and new ideas. NA-YGN is here to serve your interests. Let us know what you would like to read about!
- Local Chapter Updates
One of the recurring sections in GoNuke! is Local Chapter News. If you have held events in your home area, tell other NA-YGN members about it by submitting an article. This is a perfect forum for "lessons learned" - we need to share success stories so that similar events can be planned throughout North America. If an event didn't come off quite as planned, other members can learn from that as well - just provide some suggestions for how a similar event might be improved in the future.
If you have just established a new local chapter, or you are planning a kick-off event for a new chapter, announce it in GoNuke!
- Calendar of Events
The Calendar of Events segment of GoNuke! includes National and International Events and Local Chapter Events. Members are encouraged to submit a list of upcoming local activities, or of conferences that may be of interest to other members. Be sure to let all NA-YGN members know about upcoming opportunities!
Upcoming events and deadlines that you would like to be included in the Calendar of Events can be submitted at any time for posting on the web (www.na-ygn.org/calendar/). Include the date, location, title of the event, and the event host or sponsor in an email to gonuke@na-ygn.org. All events will be included in each GoNuke! published prior to the event date.
