The NA-YGN organized the following Professional Development activities in 2002:

• Viewpoints: A Forum of Political Leaders Discuss Nuclear Energy Issues

  We're Listening!
  Feedback from the NA-YGN event at the NEA revealed that many members would like to engage political leaders in a discussion about nuclear issues. The NA-YGN core responded to the requests and is hosting a professional development workshop entitled, "Viewpoints: A Forum of Political Leaders Discuss Nuclear Energy Issues" at the ANS Winter meeting in Washington, DC. The workshop took place Tuesday morning, November 19 at the Omni Shoreham Hotel, and featured Democratic and Republican political leaders on different sides of the nuclear fence.

• 2002 NA-YGN Mini Professional Development Seminar

  The NA-YGN Mini Professional Development Seminar had an excellent turnout of 65 people! It was a mix of older and younger generation. Good presentations and excellent discussion followed.
