  • NA-YGN Social Mixer
    Wednesday November 17, 2004 - Starting at 7:00 pm
The newly formed NA-YGN DC Metro group, with help from the Southern Maryland NA-YGN Section and the local sections at Dominion Generation (Richmond, VA) and AREVA (Lynchburg, VA), hosted a social mixer at the Brickskeller Dining House and Down Home Saloon (1523 22nd St, NW Washington, DC 20037) on Wednesday, November 17th, starting at 7:00pm. A bunch of young nuclear professionals attending the American Nuclear Society's Winter Meeting and those from the surrounding area dropped by, hung out, had a few drinks, ate a little food, caught up with old friends, and made a few new ones. In addition, we used this opportunity to generate interest in the DC Metro area to form an official NA-YGN chapter. NRC Chairman Nils Diaz dropped in and said a few words.
