This project is a joint effort with ANS PI.

The premise is that some women are refusing breast cancer diagnosis and/or treatment because they are more afraid of the treatment than of the disease itself. The proposal is to do a literature review and verify that this is occurring.

If that is so, we would develop a pamphlet on breast cancer radiation treatment clearly explaining in simple terms what it involves; also we would write an article on the issue to be published by a national women's magazine (Cosmo, Elle, etc.). If all this works, and the article generates interest maybe we could get into "Oprah" or some other TV show like that.

This project is also in its infancy… Who is interested in making it grow?
