If you are interested in helping out with Public Information Activities, you will find a number of opportunities to get involved.

Please keep in mind that the programs listed here these are just the programs that we have developed so far, or are in the process of developing. But new ideas are more than welcome… please do not hesitate to tell us about the PI programs that you would like to implement, or the ones that you have started in your local area and could be expanded throughout North America.

NA-YGN needs your help to maintain and expand all these PI programs. And each one of you can help in a number of ways… Some of these roles require a more significant time commitment, but they all are equally important. It just depends on your availability!!

• "North American Program Coordinators", to organize centrally a given PI program. This coordinator would put together a Committee of "Local Coordinators" that would implement the program at a local level, with the support of their local sections.
• "Local Program Coordinators", who will be in charge of organizing the program activities at the local level, and will interact with the "NA Program Coordinator", to share resources (materials, presentations, etc) and lessons learned.
• "NS&T Advocates", who will help with smaller and well defined parts of the different PI programs, such as developing a presentation on a issue in which they are fluent, organizing a single local event, and in general supporting the different PI programs as needed.
